  • Super Amazingly Truthful Awesome News [.jpg]: How to Fight Gang Violence with Tuna Casserole!; Lucasta Implicated in Aztec Apocalypse!!!

Sect and Clan

  • Camarilla: Conclave! (Sect is equal to Camarilla): The Chicago Conclave called by Justicars Streck, Paschek, and di Zagreb to determine the cause of the death of the former Prince of New York Darren West resulted in a declaration that it was the handiwork of Sabbat agents.

  • Camarilla: More on the Conclave (Sect is equal to Camarilla and Status ≥ 2): Apparently, a major portion of the Chicago Conclave was targeted at former Malkavian New York Prince Hadrian Evans, who appeared at the event as a suspect in the case.

When he took the stand for questioning, a young Brujah apparently frenzied and charged into the center of the venue, tackling Evans before being torn off of him by Archons.

Accusations were also made to the effect that Evans insanity had resulted in the murder of several members of the New York Court, and it was revealed that Evans to learn the arts of the Lasombra had been at least partially bound to an antitribu named Amelia Piccoli Rossi.

Meanwhile, Justicar di Zagreb reported deported himself poorly throughout the entire event and has earned the enmity of the rest of the Justicariate. He is not expected to make re-election.

  • Camarilla: Yet Even More on the Conclave (Sect is equal to Camarilla and Status ≥ 5): The Conclave reportedly was just an elaborate ruse on Paschek's part to discredit Justicar Anastasz di Zagreb and Lord Nicolai Antonescu. Di Zagreb, knowing that he has long been looked down upon both by the Council and by the Justicars, took the opportunity to defame Evans before an assembly, knowing that he is one of Paschek's favorites.

Evans apparently left Chicago somewhat shaken. His current location is unknown, but he has essentially been politically ruined.

Streck, in the meantime, was the only Justicar who had no overt interests at play in the Conclave, and she apparently has, since the judgement, taken a vague interest in New York.

The young Brujah who frenzied at Evans, later identified as Bojan Petrov, has apparently been detained by Paschek's Archons before he could return to New York.

  • Camarilla: Somehow a bit more Conclave Related Stuff (Sect is equal to Camarilla and Status ≥ 7): Evans has apparently fled Chicago to tend Amelia, who is under heavy threat from her own Clan now that her identity is known.

Streck's curiosity regarding New York has led to speculation that she may send Archons there some time in the future.

  • Brujah: Tales of Petrov's Badassery Spread (Clan is equal to Brujah): Holy Shit! There was like totally this guy at the Chicago Conclave -Bojan Petrov- and he's a crazyass motherfucker who flipped out, jumped off a balcony, pushed over a little girl, and tackled this guy in the middle of proceedings!

The fucking Justicar couldn't stare him down! It was unreal. This guy is totally badass.

He is to be known as [Unstoppable] within the Clan.

  • Lasombra: The Shadow Over Montreal (Clan is equal to Lasombra): The Friends of the Night indicate that the antitribu Ameila Piccoli Rossi, now open to destruction by any member of the Clan, was last seen in the Camarilla city of Chicago in the company of former New York Camarilla Prince Hadrian Evans, the scourge of Montreal.

    Find her if you can.

    Kill her if you can.

Church

  • Church x3: There is an increasingly weird sentiment in some fringe religious groups with an apocalyptic bent. They claim that the vigilante known as Lucasta is somehow associated with the book of Revelation and the apocryphal Book of Enoch.

They claim that Lucasta is somehow linked to the deaths of cult leader 'Loa' and Christine Darkwater, and that soon he will cross the 'River to the East' and fight the antichrist.

The church, naturally, denies all of this.

  • Church x5: The condemned heretic Abbe Ferdinand St. John was found dead in the Cenaculum of Saint Jude, after the dispersion of the rest of his Cenacle. He seems to have been burned by some sort of horrific chemical reaction. Supernatural involvement is suspected.

The Society has done its best to cover up the incident. St. John was scheduled to be forcibly excised from the order in any event and was not expected to survive.

  • Church x6: Abbe Ferdinand St. John was said to be guilty of the Florentine Heresy. It is believed that his actions have proved responsible for the eventual destruction of the Cenacle he led, and he is to be held accountable for its loss.

It is said that he failed to perform the auto de fe, and willfully hid, sheltered and aided an agent of the enemy. The monster in question was not retrieved when St. John's body was collected, and is assumed to still be a danger.

The Society, however, cannot expend the resources to track it at this point. Other facts are weighing in.

  • Church x7: Various government officials have frozen Leopoldian operations in DC and are demanding a full account of what happened with the Cenacle of St. Jude. The Society is essentially frozen on the issue of New York as S.A.D. people take things over.

Finance

  • Finance x3: Apparently Daemon's, an increasingly infamously sucky nightclub in Harlem, is having its mortgage foreclosed. Life is crappy for a certain leatherbar owner.

  • Finance x5: The Church of Scientology continues it's vendetta against Emanuel James Richardson IV, and are reportedly interested in his financial holdings (looking into them through legal means, of course).

Health

  • Health x1: No bioweapons are being made. No bodies are exploding into flame. No mutant sharks with beefy arms have been found.

Other than that, researchers continue to look heavily into the effects of xylothanamenic acid (the active chemical in sempreverde), as it is seemingly very easy to plant hypnotic suggestions in people under the influence of the drug. This is in reaction to a recent wave of Lucasta sightings throughout NYC which bear an eerie resemblance to "Devil's Thursday." They suspect that "Lucasta" may be using some sort of chemical to induce hallucinogenic visions of his person.

  • Health x2: A few people now even theorize that the distribution of sempreverde might be linked to the increasingly weird reports throughout the city.

  • Health x3: Wu Industries has successfully negotiated with CUMC to completely fund the renovation of a condemned wing of a hospital building. There is to be the establishment of a small private research lab owned by Wu Industries in the renovated wing focused primarily on the long-term effects of psychotropics.

Xylothanamenic acid might be one of the chemicals of interest.

High Society

  • High Society x1: The elite just aren't being entertaining these days. They are being boring. Boring. Boring. Boring.

Industry

  • Industry x2: Wu Industries has successfully negotiated with CUMC to completely fund the renovation of a condemned wing of a hospital building. There is to be the establishment of a small private research lab owned by Wu Industries in the renovated wing focused primarily on the long-term effects of psychotropics

Legal

  • Legal x1: Not much suing going on. Not much at all going on. Is the city going sane or something?

  • Legal x4: Apparently several of the tenants of the building which houses Daemon's, an increasingly infamous nightclub in Harlem, are suing the owner of the club over negligence that caused significant fire damage to their living area.

Media

  • Media x1: Nothing terribly strange or bizarre is going on in New York for some reason. Lucasta isn't causing any overt rumbling. The Virgin Mary is not being violated. Film directors are not being slain.

The media has taken to reporting on the inclement weather.

Occult

  • Occult x1: Apocalyptic sentiment runs rampant. Although Lucasta hasn't verifiably appeared in ages, there is an increasingly weird sentiment in some fringe religious groups with an apocalyptic bent. They claim that he is somehow associated with the book of Revelation and the apocryphal Book of Enoch.

They further claim that Lucasta is somehow linked to the deaths of cult leader 'Loa' and Christine Darkwater, and that soon he will cross the 'River to the East' and fight the antichrist.

People aren't sure what to think anymore about Lucasta. At least one copycat has already been apprehended. The phrase "Age of the Lightbringer" is becoming stylish amongst urban youth, and there's some sort of appeal to whatever it is that the hero has come to represent.

  • Occult x3: Apparently the whole apocalyptic prophecy regarding Lucasta started at the behest of a kabbalist named 'Rainbow.' He claims to have had a divine revelation when one of the messengers of the Light Bringer appeared to him, walking on water.

He believes that Lucasta might be the next coming of Christ.

  • Occult x4: A massive altercation went down between two rival gangs in Coney Island this week. What's odd is that several people claimed to hear "the voice of the Devil" as the fight broke out, which caused them to flee from the scene and have strange visions.

  • Occult x5: There was apparently one man in question who started the mass hysteria at Coney Island: the enigmatic leader of the Orphans. He apparently actually said the words "Tuna Casserole" at the time of the fray.

  • Occult x6: The leader of the Orphans is a strange and quiet man named Langston. He is said to be capable of clairvoyance, telepathy and psychometry.

Police

  • Police x1: Almost nothing spectacularly weird, strange, or surreal happened over the past two weeks. The police are very very much relieved.

  • Police x2: Small time bookie and pusher Martinez the Bunyip has been taken into custody,

  • Police x3: Several dozen people have been reported missing from poor slum areas in the Bronx. There is no major investigation yet, however.

  • Police x4: A massive altercation went down between two rival gangs in Coney Island this week. What's odd is that several people claimed to hear "the voice of the Devil" as the fight broke out, which caused them to flee from the scene.

  • Police x5: While few people will admit it, there is increasing unease over Darren West's involvement with police, given the recent way that the Motley case has been handled.

Politics

  • Politics x1: Politics are increasingly reacting to the incredibly apocalyptic flavor that New York culture seems to be enmeshed in. Teen suicide has become an increasing issue, and as figures like 'Lucasta' enter into popular culture, there has been a resurgence on pressing traditional family values.

  • Politics x5: Offices of the legendary 'Society of Leopold' have been seized throughout the DC area by government investigators. Apparently some sort of covert operation has gone terribly wrong and it involves the Catholic Church.

  • Politics x7: The FBI special forces division is rumored to be interested in New York.

Street

  • Street x1: Apocalyptic sentiment runs rampant.

  • Street x3: There was apparently one man in question who started the mass hysteria at Coney Island: the enigmatic leader of the orphans. He apparently actually said the words "Tuna Casserole" at the time of the fray.

Meanwhile, small time bookie and pusher Martinez the Bunyip has been taken into custody.

Several dozen people have been reported missing from poor slum areas in the Bronx. Police haven't done much to help, as the people seem to have left in family groups. They probably just took off without telling anyone.

  • Street x4: There's continues to be word all over Brooklyn that NOBODY is to sell any cocaine to a girl matching a certain description (short, bobbed hair, goes by the name of Natalie) or there will be heavy repercussions.

In the meantime, a group of hobos got very very drunk celebrating the death of the "Street Devil," a strange serial killer who targeted the homeless and was apparently an eyeless seven foot man. In their revelry they allegedly stole the 'N' from the sign of Ronnie's Liquor Store in the lower Bronx.

  • Street x5: The leader of the Orphans is said to have messianic power, and to be able to read the minds of those near him.

Transportation

Underworld

  • Underworld x3: Hawk and Sparrow, a Eurpoean assassin team, are apparently trying to keep their heads down a bit more after theirrecent entanglement with Throat Cutter Hernadez drew "unwelcome attention" of some variety.

University

  • University x2: Wu Industries has successfully negotiated with CUMC to completely fund the renovation of a condemned wing of a hospital building. There is to be the establishment of a small private research lab owned by Wu Industries in the renovated wing focused primarily on the long-term effects of psychotropics.
