He is known as Lucasta in some circles, which some believe relates to Lucifer, the so-called Light-bringer. Health

  • Health x1: Christine Darkwater's doctors have declared that they believe the woman to be suffering from a catatonic form of psychosis and recommended to a judge this past week that she be declared unfit for trial. The judge agreed, but against the doctors' recommendations asked that she be transferred to the high-security Ward's Island Hospital for the Criminally Insane, rather than be released to the care of a general hospital (New York Presbyterian).

Christine still hasn't spoken a word since her capture.

  • Health x4:Investigations are being made into where over fifty pints of blood from Silver Pines General Hospital have disappeared to. The blood was reported transferred to an unknown CDC Director, but no paper trail has been found explaining who he was or what the blood was used for. The area is facing a blood shortage, just in time for Thanksgiving, and there is much concern.

High Society

  • High Society x2: The Agora is continuing an exhibition on work from an up and coming artist's collective, headed by an enigmatic and mysterious figure known only as "M". The installation pieces all seem to be bizarre inventions, perpetual motion devices or vaguely booby-trap-esque looking contraptions. Prominent on display is a piece ominously known as "Mechanical Chicken Separator #13."

This bizarre art form is getting increasingly popular, however, some of the pieces not by "M", namely the ones involving a lot of broken dolls and post-feminist themes, are considered fairly cliche.

  • High Society x3: The Marzipan Room, the Blue Tigerlily Lounge, 21 Water, and Club Cain are all skyrocketing in popularity as night clubs. Word is that anybody who's anybody should check them out.

Industry

  • Industry x2: Global Chemicals, a company known for its research into alternative energy forms continues to come into harsh criticism regarding what appears to be the dumping of oil processing byproducts into a local abandoned coal mine. There is growing concern that the byproducts may be responsible for notable disruptions in the wildlife that the small upstate New York town has faced.

Legal

  • Legal x1: Christine Darkwater's doctors have declared that they believe the woman to be suffering from a catatonic form of psychosis and recommended to a judge this past week that she be declared unfit for trial. Nobody can remember the face of this mysterious stranger.

An semi-apocalyptic organization known as S.I.N. or the Society for Inraged Norns (spelling error intentional) is trying to attract members. The group has a rather desolate world view and believes that whatever Gods/Goddesses there are do not care for mankind.

Police

Police are looking for any connections this may have to the Darkwater case in general, as the woman allegedly died under strange circumstances.

Christine Darkwater still hasn't spoken a word since her capture. Police attempts to question her are proving futile.

An NYPD SWAT team is up in arms because somebody has "misplaced" a Barrett M107 sniper rifle, and no trace of it can be found. People are getting demoted and reprimanded like crazy over this, and there's an imperative to find the gun as soon as possible.

  • Police x4: A supply Clerk with the NYPD was reprimanded for losing a piece of evidence from a strange case a few months ago. The item in question was apparently some sort of toy car.

Allison Darkwater's body, was found covered in long demonic-looking claw marks that seemed to sear through her flesh. The coroner, however, reports that the cause of her death was actually blood loss, oddly enough, as she was found partially exsanguinated.

Nobody can remember the face of this mysterious stranger.

The infamous Bronx gang leader Throat-cutter Hernandez apparently has some fine ex-Soviet guns for sale.

  • Street x4: At least three homeless men have been reported missing under strange circumstances. People increasingly reluctant to travel alone.
